An Initiative to Empower Women Through Entrepreneurship and Economic Independence

The LVGC Nari Shakti Programme, operated in association with Luniya Vinayak Group of Companies (LVGC), is an initiative designed to provide women—including educated and less-educated women, homemakers, and women from lower-income backgrounds—with opportunities, training, business guidance, digital platforms, and professional support to help them become economically independent and capable entrepreneurs.

Under this programme, LVGC has developed five major business models across different sectors. The objective is not merely to connect women with employment opportunities, but to help them become business owners and entrepreneurs capable of building sustainable sources of income.

The long-term vision of the programme is to work towards connecting more than 100,000 women with entrepreneurship by 2028 and creating opportunities for approximately 500,000 people through direct and indirect employment across various business activities.

THE FIVE MAJOR BUSINESS MODELS

1. LVGC E-COMMERCE BUSINESS MODEL

From Home to the Digital Marketplace – Your Business, Your Identity

The first and principal model of the LVGC Nari Shakti Programme focuses on connecting women with the e-commerce and digital marketplace ecosystem.

Under this model, LVGC will assist women in establishing the basic business infrastructure required to start and operate an online business.

What Support Will Women Receive?

Women will receive assistance and guidance for:

  • Registration of a firm/business in their name.
  • GST registration and related guidance.
  • Basic FSSAI registration, wherever applicable to the business.
  • Assistance in opening a bank account in the name of the business/firm.
  • Development/provision of an e-commerce website for the woman’s business.
  • Seller registration on major digital marketplaces.
  • Guidance for becoming a seller on platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, AJIO and Myntra, subject to the respective platform requirements.
  • Training in digital marketing, online sales and product management.
  • Business guidance for the operation and development of the enterprise.

1000+ PRODUCT DROPSHIPPING NETWORK

Women will also have the opportunity to explore a dropshipping-based business model, enabling them to sell products without maintaining a large inventory.

The proposed product network will include 1,000+ products across categories such as:

Fashion, Jewellery, Garments, Footwear, Cosmetics, Health & Wellness Products, Kids Wear, Toys, Electronic Accessories, Home Décor, Food & Snacks, Herbal Teas and Herbal Products, among others.

The objective is to enable women to operate an online business from home by using digital platforms and an extended product catalogue.

TRAINING + BUSINESS AGREEMENT

The programme is designed not merely to provide a digital platform but also to provide women with business training, operational guidance and entrepreneurial support.

Women participating in the programme will work with LVGC under a Business Agreement, establishing the terms and framework of the proposed collaboration.

100-DAY “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER SERVICE”

One of the proposed special features of the programme is the “Unconditional Surrender Service.”

If a participating woman, after starting the business, does not achieve the prescribed programme certification/satisfaction within 100 days, or if she decides for any personal reason that she does not wish to continue the business, she may surrender the business to the company in accordance with the applicable procedure and agreement.

Upon a valid surrender, the invested amount will be processed for refund according to the applicable terms.

As proposed under the programme, after completion of the surrender process, the refund process may be initiated through cheque within 7–10 days, with provision for 100% refund of the eligible investment amount without additional charges, subject to the programme agreement, eligibility conditions and applicable terms.

This facility will remain subject to the written Business Agreement, programme rules, eligibility criteria and applicable legal/regulatory requirements.

2. LVGC WOMEN ENTREPRENEURSHIP & HOME-INDUSTRY MODEL

Taking Home-Made Products to the Marketplace

The second model is designed for women who are already engaged in, or wish to establish, home-based industries, handmade products, traditional products, food products or other household businesses.

The objective is to help these women move beyond a limited local customer base and connect their products with domestic and potentially international markets through an organized platform and distribution network.

Key Features

  • Connecting women-made products with the LVGC e-commerce network.
  • Assistance in reaching domestic and potential international markets.
  • Digital sales and distribution support.
  • Assistance in developing a market for women-owned products.
  • Proposed weekly settlement mechanism for eligible product sales.
  • Business agreements for product distribution and commercial collaboration.

A Key Feature

The objective of this model is to provide a platform for women to market their existing products without requiring a mandatory programme investment, subject to the applicable business arrangement.

Women can therefore focus on production while the LVGC network works towards supporting the marketing, distribution and sales of their products.

3. LVGC WOMEN’S SMALL-INDUSTRY ESTABLISHMENT MODEL

From Home-Based Activity to Small Industry – Empowering Women Entrepreneurs

The third model is designed to support women who wish to establish a small manufacturing or home-based industrial unit.

The objective is to assist women in setting up a small enterprise with appropriate business planning, legal guidance and operational support.

Proposed Support by LVGC

  • Guidance for establishing a small industry at home or at a suitable location.
  • Assistance in preparing the business and project structure.
  • Support with required legal and documentation procedures.
  • Guidance in identifying suitable premises and lease arrangements.
  • Assistance with relevant registrations and compliance requirements.
  • Guidance in developing production processes.
  • Assistance in connecting products with sales and distribution networks.
  • Support in connecting the enterprise with e-commerce and offline markets.
  • Business-operation guidance for women entrepreneurs.

The objective is not merely to help establish a small unit, but to work towards creating a complete business ecosystem—from production to market.

4. LVGC WOMEN’S FOOD INDUSTRY MODEL

From the Taste of Home to a Marketable Brand

Traditional food products, snacks, spices and other homemade food products represent an important opportunity for women-led entrepreneurship.

The fourth model of the LVGC Nari Shakti Programme is designed to connect women with the food industry and home-food business ecosystem.

Products May Include

  • Namkeen and snacks
  • Traditional spices
  • Homemade food products
  • Regional and traditional food items
  • Packaged food products
  • Other eligible food products

The objective is to help take such products from local customers to customers across India and potentially international markets, subject to applicable food, packaging, licensing and export requirements.

A weekly settlement mechanism is proposed for eligible women entrepreneurs based on product sales and distribution arrangements.

Through this model, LVGC aims to connect traditional home-made products with branding, packaging, digital marketing, distribution and organized markets.

5. LVGC CLOUD KITCHEN MODEL

From the Home Kitchen to the Local Marketplace

The fifth model of the LVGC Nari Shakti Programme focuses on connecting women with the Cloud Kitchen Business opportunity.

Under this model, LVGC plans to develop Cloud Kitchen opportunities for women through which customers in local markets can receive quality food products at reasonable prices.

Potential Benefits

  • Opportunity for women to operate a food business from home or an approved/appropriate location.
  • Access to local customers.
  • Potential integration with online ordering and digital sales channels.
  • Organized marketing and sale of food products.
  • Creation of local employment opportunities.
  • Potential to provide work opportunities to other women and local youth.

In this way, the Cloud Kitchen model can become not only a business opportunity for women but also a potential local employment-generation model.

FIVE MODELS – ONE COMMON PURPOSE

Although the five business models of the LVGC Nari Shakti Programme operate in different sectors, they share one fundamental objective:

“To provide women with opportunities, connect them with skills and markets, and empower them to build sustainable businesses and become economically independent.”

From e-commerce to home industries,
from small-scale manufacturing to food businesses,
and from Cloud Kitchens to digital marketplaces—

LVGC is working towards creating a business environment where women can choose a business model according to their skills, interests, resources and entrepreneurial goals.

VISION FOR 2028

LVGC plans to develop the Nari Shakti Programme on a larger scale.

The long-term vision is to work towards connecting more than 100,000 women with entrepreneurship by 2028 and creating approximately 500,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities through different business models.

The programme is envisioned not merely as a business initiative, but as an integrated effort connecting:

Women’s Economic Empowerment • Digital Entrepreneurship • Home Industries • Small-Scale Manufacturing • Food Businesses • E-Commerce • Local Employment
